DESCRIPTION:Does your ward or department always have THE best Christmas tree?\nWe’re looking for trees which celebrate and showcase your team and the work that you do. Prizes will be given for the very best trees.\nLast date for registration – Monday 29 November\nLast date for entry – Friday 10 December\nJudging and winner announced week beginning 13 December\n1. Register your entry by sending an email to charity@mcht.nhs.uk with the following details:\na. Ward number or department name. b. Contact name c. Contact number \n£5 entry fee can be paid at cashiers\, charity office (limited opening hours so please call us on x3248 to check we’re in) or via bank transfer – please speak to a member of the team if you require our bank details \n2. Involve your team to plan the design \n3. Ensure your design complies with Trust fire and Infection\nPrevention guidance \n4. Get creative and decorate your tree! \n5. Send photos (and any additional information) for judging to\ncharity@mcht.nhs.uk \nPhotos of your finished tree should be sent via email to the\nabove address or via Whatsapp to 07917 517148 as soon as it’s\nfinished\, but at the latest by 12 midday on Friday 10 December \nWe would like to promote the competition by adding photos of\nyour creations to Facebook\, therefore please ensure that the\ncorrect permissions have been gained if patients\, visitors or staff\nare visible in the photos. \nJudging will be based on the following criteria:\n• Creativity / innovation\n• Best use of resources\n• Evidence of team working\n• Added value such as patient involvement\, fundraising etc. \nThe judge’s decision is final. Help them feel festive and let them know they’re in your thoughts by purchasing a gift for them from our Amazon Wishlist. All gifts will be delivered directly to us and will be distributed across all wards in time for the big day. \n  \n \n  \nOur teams on the wards\, out-patients and in ED will also see and care for many children over the festive period. DESCRIPTION:Thanks for the Memory is back again after a short ‘break’ for the eight year at Cranage Hall on Sunday October 31 2021\, with the concert running from 2 to 5pm. \nThe concert will be hosted by the excellent Dave Egerton Band with\nTim Ashcroft as Musical Director and MC for the afternoon.\nWith music from the early 1920’s to the Swing era; from Glenn Miller to the Beatles; Fred Astaire to Vera Lynn to Van Morrison; Frank Sinatra to The\nTemptations to the Beach Boys; from the Supremes to Amy Winehouse to Caro Emerald\, and much more.\nCome along and sit back while we take you down memory lane. \nWe are joined by The Flukes Ukulele Band. Enjoy singing along with them to some timeless classics. \nThe event is supporting Mid Cheshire Hospital Charity Dementia Fund and the Alzheimer’s Society. Last time we raised over £1200 and hope to do the same or more again this year. \nTickets are available at Eventbrite here. \n
