SUMMARY:Amsterdam Marathon (Area A)
DESCRIPTION:Join over 47 000 runners from over 140 countries for this unique city marathon! The event begins and finishes in the Olympic Stadium and provides a scenic course that is flat and fast-paced. Runners will follow the route along the Amsel River and through the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark. Amsterdam is known as one of Europe’s most stunning cities\, and the Amsterdam Marathon allows runners to take in all of the major sights in a fantastic world-class event. \nStart Area A Olympic Stadium\nStart Area A is on the field inside of the Olympic Stadium. After entrance through the marathon gate you will be directed to your start wave. Each start wave corresponds with an expected finish time. The colour on the bib number corresponds to your permitted start wave. \nThe marathon gate opens at 07.45 hours. Start wave 3 (pink) and Wave 4 (orange) are also accessible via the entrance stairs on the outside of the stadium. Will you be starting in Wave 1 (white) or Wave 2 (yellow)? DESCRIPTION:Join the nation this July and host your own NHS Big Tea party to raise funds for MCH Charity. You can brew up a storm on 5 July\, the 76th birthday of the NHS\, or any day that week. \nWhether you get together at home\, at school\, in the office\, or in your local community\, there are so many ways to raise money at an NHS Big Tea. From asking for donations in return for tea\, cake and good company\, to hosting a quiz\, playing tea related games or running baking competitions. The possibili-teas are endless! \nHosting an NHS Big Tea is a great way to bring communities together around a shared love of the NHS whilst raising money to support our End of Life Care Appeal or another of our funds. \nEveryone can get involved and every cuppa makes a difference. \nSo\, grab your teapot\, pop the kettle on and let’s turn tea and cake into cash to help support the charity and to help us to keep supporting people who use local NHS services. \nPlease let us know that you will be getting involved by sending us an email and we’ll send you an NHS Big Tea fundraising pack to get you started. DESCRIPTION:Join in the excitement this summer by holding a sweepstake for the UEFA Euro 24 football tournament. It’s an easy way to get involved with the footie fun and not only will you be in with a chance of winning a cash prize\, you will also raise funds for our End of Life Care Appeal. \nSuggested entry is £2 per country (24 countries) equals £48 prize fund. MCH Charity receives half and you use the rest for the winners (We also ask that MCH Charity are the holders of any unsold teams). DESCRIPTION:The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the world and perfectly combines a personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world’s greatest cities. \nRace day will see you pound the pavements of the French capital’s most famous avenues and plazas.  Starting at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe\, and finishing with views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to guide you home. Every year\, this unique and spectacular setting attracts more and more entrants. There are now more than 23\,000 runners from abroad\, making up 40% of the field. \nAll runners will have to provide a medical certificate to be able to run\, this can be obtained from you GP and a template for this is on the official website. \nMinimum sponsorship for this event is £750
