Biography
Mark joined the charity in September 2023 and is responsible for all aspects community fundraising activities, working with our fantastic fundraisers and local businesses that support the charity. Mark has over 20 years’ experience of working within the charity sector, Mark said, ‘helping others and making a difference to people’s lives, is what drives me in my life’s aspirations and passions. To sum this up my passion is helping to make someone smile each day, as the song says, “You’ll find that life is still worthwhile, if you just smile.”

Fun Fact
I was a DJ working on radio, TV and in nightclubs across the UK, and was three times UK DJ of the Year. I have a phobia of rollercoasters, I could never go on one, I went to Florida and waited in queues with the bags for a fortnight!
