Radio Northwich joins forces with presenter Kim Smith to hold event to raise funds for MCH Charity

Radio Northwich link up with presenter Kim Smith to hold a charity fundraising night to raise vital funds for the Breast Cancer Unit at Leighton Hospital.

Kim was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January 2020 and after undergoing treatment is now Cancer free. Kim launched her fundraising project “Simply the Breast" to raise funds to enhance the patient experience in the Breast Care Centre at Leighton Hospital.

The event will see Heaven 17 perform at the iconic Northwich Plaza, Friday 12th August. It is sure to be an amazing evening with Glenn Gregory, Martyn Ware and the rest of the band. Supporting on the night will be, The Electromantics and Mark Radcliffe's UNE.

Carole Salmon, Community fundraiser for MCH Charity said: “Kim is a fundraising dynamo. She has an amazing way of connecting people and is so inspirational. I feel very proud to be able support her with her fundraising for the Breast Care Unit. I can't wait to be there at the event which I know will be a fabulous evening.”

As a result of the first release of tickets in January selling so well, the team have now arranged a second release of tickets for the 80's extravaganza, which can be purchased by visiting https://bit.ly/39cIO87
