Moments that Matter

Every day in our hospitals, and community services moments happen that mean everything — a loved one sharing a final breath of fresh air, a child feeling safe in a bright playroom, a scan that gives answers sooner.


Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, the Moments That Matter Fund helps supports urgent and meaningful projects across our hospitals and within our community services.

What is the Moments that Matter Fund?

This is our most flexible appeal. It allows Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity to respond quickly wherever the need is greatest across our hospitals and community services — funding projects over and above what the NHS can provide. It helps us to make the biggest impact for the people in greatest need, in the moments that matter.

From supporting babies and their parents in NICU, to caring for people and their loved ones during their final hours - we're here for every moment that matters.

Musicians in residence

Your donations help to fund:

  • Cutting-edge equipment that speeds up diagnosis and treatment, or that reduces the need for invasive procedures.

  • Comforting spaces such as bereavement suites, children’s waiting rooms and calming spaces for those receiving bad news.

  • Meaningful extras that bring relief or peace, like more comfortable chairs for people receiving chemotherapy, live music to help calm and distract, or by offering complementary therapies to help someone nearing the end of life relieve anxiety and pain.

Be a fundraiser

Cake sales to marathons, fun days to sky dives, whatever you're planning we're here to help! Please get in touch before you start so we can provide you with authorisation and all the resources you might need to help your fundraising be the best it can be.

Volunteer

We are always looking for people who can spare a few hours a week to help our small team. You could help out in the office and around the hospital site or support us at events both at the hospital and in the local community.
