Our mission is to enhance the hospital environment, improve patient experiences, and support staff wellbeing through the power of the arts.
About the programme
Rooted in the principles of Creative Health, we recognise that engagement with the arts can aid physical and mental recovery, reduce stress, and promote healing.
Through our arts in hospitals programme, we bring colour, comfort, and inspiration to everyone at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust. From uplifting artwork in wards and waiting areas to performances, and creative activities that enhance patient experience, our programme champions the benefits of arts for health and wellbeing.
Explore our four key areas of work:
Creating welcoming and engaging spaces, co-created with staff and patients.
We provide creative activities that support emotional wellbeing and help prevent deconditioning during hospital stays.
We deliver arts-based workshops and resources to help staff reduce stress, boost morale, and support their mental health.
We provide accessible creative resources for patients and staff to engage with the arts anytime, supporting recovery and wellbeing beyond structured programmes.
If you are passionate about the arts supporting healthcare, recovery and wellbeing, please donate and support the arts programme.
