The Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity Arts Programme has been successful in securing funding from Youth Music, enabling us to build on the success of our recent Musicians in Residence programme — with a special focus on children and young people.
Thanks to the Youth Music Trailblazer Fund, we’ll be able to deliver regular music sessions on our Children’s Ward and support some young people to continue their musical journey even after they’ve been discharged from hospital.
Arts Programme Manager Deborah Riding shared: “I’m delighted that we have been awarded this funding and am excited to be working with Youth Music on this programme. The Trailblazer grant will allow us to deliver musical activity to our children and young people at the hospital and learn much more about the positive impact this can have on their wellbeing.”
We’re incredibly proud to continue using creativity and music to support wellbeing during hospital stays — and grateful to Youth Music for making this possible.
