Say hello to Mike Hilditch and Oliver who visited Leighton Hospital today.
On the 7th July 2019 Mike took part in the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride to raise money for Leighton’s Neonatal Unit.
Oliver spent 89 days on the ward in 2014/2015 when he was born 10 weeks early, weighing just short of 2Ib.
Mike told us; ”The Neonatal team were amazing who looked after Oliver and we eventually got him home early 2015 weighing just over 5lb.
I wanted to raise as much money as possible that will be donated to the NICU ward to contribute towards any items to support other families like ours”.
Big thanks to Mike his family, friends and colleagues at Bentley in Crewe for helping raise a brilliant £679.12.
Oliver was keen to tell the NICU team today that his favourite toy is Spiderman!
