Pulse Staff Lottery

What is the Pulse Staff Lotto?

The Pulse Staff Lotto is a monthly prize draw exclusively for MCHFT and CCICP staff. Each chance (through a randomly assigned number) is £2 and there is a maximum of five chances every month. The money is taken directly from staff net pay.

Draws usually take place in the final week of the month using the CRM database Harlequin lottery module that includes a random number generator.

How much can I win?

50% of the total income goes to prizes, with the other 50% going to MCH Charity. The charity uses this money to support projects that have a direct impact on improving the care and experience of patients and also funds projects that directly benefit staff.

The prize fund and donation to charity varies depending on how many members of staff have entered. There are four prizes every month, with the top prize always guaranteed to be at least £200 (but is currently around an average of £1,345) and the more people that enter, the higher the prize.

What are my chances of winning?

Each number in the staff lottery has approximate odds of winning of 1 in 3,100 as opposed to 1 in 14,000,000 of winning the national lottery.

If I win, how do I get paid?

You will receive an email confirming your win, and the prize money will be paid by bank transfer (BACS) into the same account that your salary goes into.
