New charity funded Children’s Waiting Room opens at Victoria Infirmary

After a year of fundraising for our Victoria Infirmary, Northwich (VIN) Appeal we are thrilled that last week finally saw the opening of the newly created Children's Waiting Room in the main waiting area of the hospital.

Children from The Grange School, which raised over £2,000 for the appeal, did the honours of cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony.

Emma Robertson, Head of MCH Charity said, “Creating a dedicated space for children and their families is very important to us. We are immensely grateful for the generous support and funding from the Northwich community. This project exemplifies our commitment to enhancing the hospital experience beyond the standard NHS provisions. We hope this space provides a comforting distraction during challenging times. Inviting our incredible supporters to join us for the opening event was very special indeed.”
