During the COVID-19 pandemic, people longed to escape to places of serenity—to recharge their batteries and reconnect with the special places in their lives.
In 2021, staff at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust took part in a creative project with photographer Andrew Billington, capturing the locations and scenes that brought them moments of peace and reflection.
A selection of these photographs is displayed along the ground floor corridors of Leighton Hospital.
