Best Dressed Tree Competition

Do you have a flair for creative festive decoration? Are you the team member who gets everyone into the festive spirit with your ideas and enthusiasm? Our Best Dressed Tree competition is a firm favourite with our NHS staff so we want to share the joy with our local communities and ask you to sign up to compete to have the Best Dressed Tree this December!

We’re looking for trees which celebrate and showcase your team, school, group or business and the work that you do. As 2023 is the 75th anniversary of the NHS we are also looking for trees which celebrate this amazing milestone in British history.

We will celebrate and promote the trees on our social media channels and all entries will receive a certificate of thanks from the charity.

If you would like to add a fundraising element to your creation we can provide collection buckets and will be happy to arrange for a cheque presentation to share the good news with our supporters and yours early in the New Year.

Registration is £10 per tree

Tree of Lights

Dedicate to a loved one

Send a festive message to a friend, family member or work pal

Remember someone special

Pick a colour of the light, a bauble or present under the tree

Everyone who visits the page will see it and your message.

Add a light to the tree and dedicate a message to someone special.

You can even create your own page to light up your own tree. It's a perfect alternative to sending Christmas cards and can help you feel connected with your employees, colleagues, friends and family.

You can even add a photo or your company logo which appears when you hover over the light and all from the comfort of your own home.

All donations go towards our Christmas campaign and will support people using local NHS services.

Give a Gift 2023

We are always so grateful for the many toys and gifts we receive for children who will be in hospital over the festive period.

There will also be many older people who will spend Christmas Day in hospital and who may not get to see any loved ones over the festive period. A small gift from you will enable our staff to make sure that everyone receives a present on Christmas morning.

There are restrictions on what we are able to accept so as a guide please consider theses items:

  • toiletries gift packs (men, women, teenager boys and girls)
  • cosy socks
  • notebooks and pens
  • boxes of chocolates or sweets
  • new toys - all age ranges
  • children's books
  • drawing and craft items
  • board games

To arrange delivery of your gift please email us charity@mcht.nhs.uk

To make it even easier you can simply visit our Amazon Wishlist and choose something to be delivered directly to us. Click here to visit the wishlist page.

Please note you are not able to deliver gifts directly to the children's wards, but we can arrange for a member of the team to meet with you at the hospital to accept them from you.
