Freedom Miles is a new MCH Charity event taking place this summer. As life continues to return to ‘normal’ we are hoping that this event will provide an opportunity for colleagues, friends and families to come together and join in with a fun, summer activity in support of our new Children’s Emergency Care Appeal.
We’re asking you to walk, run, cycle, swim, or do any other activity where miles can be tracked, to help raise much needed funds for the appeal. You choose where, when and how many miles you want to do, and ask your family and friends to sponsor you along the way.
Registration is now open and once you’re signed up we’ll send you a fundraising pack along with a FREE Freedom Miles t-shirt for all adult participants and, because the event finishes on the anniversary of the creation of the NHS, we’re asking our younger fundraisers to dress up in their best Superhero costume to complete their miles and to celebrate our NHS Heroes!
Children who take part automatically get enrolled onto our Young Fundraisers scheme, to find out more about how they can earn trophies as a reward for their efforts click here.
We hope that your family and friends will show their support by sponsoring your challenge and to show our thanks, any individual who raises over £50 and any team which raises over £200 gets entered into a prize draw to win a fantastic summer hamper.
After the event, we’ll send you a letter confirming the amount you raised, an achievement certificate and a little surprise gift to say thank you for supporting us.
Don’t forget we love seeing photos of our supporters in action, so take snaps of you doing your miles, your way and share on our social media pages using the hashtag #freedommiles

We’re delighted that our good friends at Hall Smith Whittingham have agreed to sponsor Freedom Miles which means that every penny you raise goes directly to the appeal. Huge thanks to the whole team for their continued support!
