Local solicitors Hall Smith Whittingham have announced they will be sponsoring Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s new ‘Young Fundraisers’ scheme. The initiative has been designed to encourage more youngsters to raise money to support local NHS services operated by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The charity team recognised that throughout lockdown lots of local children used their time at home to create fun ways to fundraise and wanted to encourage more children to get involved by offering rewards for their efforts.
Young fundraisers are able to work towards Bronze, Silver and Gold trophies to share with their family, school or nursery and all ages can get involved from Tiny (0-5), Junior (5-11), through to Teen (11-16).
Emma Appleyard, Partner, Head of Dispute Resolution at HSW said: ‘At Hall Smith Whittingham Solicitors we take great pleasure in getting involved with local charities which have such an impact in our local community. In this uncertain time it is our opportunity to give back and to support the local community.’
Carole Salmon, MCH Community Fundraiser said: ‘We especially love the drive and enthusiasm of our young fundraisers and this is a perfect way to celebrate their achievements. They are so many ways to fundraise that are COVID secure. They can make and sell items, do a fitness challenge or something else of their own choosing.’
