These comfort packs are one of the small ways in which we are using money donated to our End of Life Care Appeal to support people who find themselves unexpectedly in hospital when a loved one is admitted for end of life care.
During this difficult and stressful time people often don’t want to leave their loved one’s side even for a short time to pop home to collect some essentials. The offer of the pack shows that someone cares and is thinking of their needs as well as the patient’s.
The packs cost us £5 each, so even a small donation to the appeal can make a big difference at a time when it’s needed most.
