The Alpha Omega Merry Miles festive fundraising event is back and it's bigger and better than ever!
We missed our ‘in the park’ event last year and so can’t wait to see our wonderful supporters once again in their fabulous festive fancy dress this year. But we know lots of you enjoyed last year’s adapted event, so we’ll also go virtual again this year too.
Merry Miles is simple – join us for a festive one-mile run, walk or toddle ‘In the Park’ at 11am, on Saturday 27 November, ‘Go Virtual’ with your mile(s) any place, any time between 20 November and 4 December, or go wild and do both (don’t worry it’s only one registration fee)!
Registration is £10 for adults and £5 for children over 11 (under 11’s go FREE)
Once you have registered, we will send you a fantastic fundraising pack bursting with great stuff including a:
- Merry Miles T-shirt
- Santa hat (for the first 150 people to register)
- Selection box (for the first 100 people to register)
- Merry Miles sponsor form (please let us know if you need more than one when registering)
- Children’s colouring in Merry Miles poster
- Children’s achievement certificate – please let us know how many you need when registering. We will leave the name section blank so you can write in your child’s/children’s name(s)
PLUS, Everyone who completes their miles will receive a fantastic Merry Miles medal.
Prizes are up for grabs for best fancy dress and most creative action photo and children who raise over £50 in sponsorship automatically receive a Bronze Young Fundraisers Award trophy.
There is no minimum sponsorship amount for this event, but please be assured every penny you raise will go to our Children’s Emergency Care appeal and will get us a step closer to our £40,000 target which will help us to make emergency care for babies and children visiting Leighton Hospital the best it can be.
